T-shirts are often recommended in the Tripawds treatment and recovery forum as a way to help protect new front leg amputee dogs from interfering with their healing. Members have mentioned using an old men’s t-shirt and tying the tail end so it fits snug. Why not use a comfy dog t-shirt designed to fit your pup and show your Tripawd Pride at the same time? 🙂
Wearing a Tripawds Dog T-Shirt after recovery, your three legged dog will be the envy of all pups dog park too!
- Made of 100% ring spun cotton. 5.8oz. 1×1 rib.
- Black ringer accent on sleeves and collar.
- Five sizes to choose from.
And don’t forget! Today is the last day to order Café Pess items with Standard shipping and still receive them in time for Christmas. Wouldn’t you’re pup just look adorable in one of these Tripawds Dog T-Shirts at your Christmas party?

Sizing:
The t-shirt would be great to protect stitches and to prevent sunburn if you are lucky to live in such a warm climate. But pay attention to the size. I did not read the details and assumed that large would be sufficient for my 75 pound pyrenees x collie cross. Instead, “large” is kind of for a dinky dog (or a large cat).
XX-large might work on a medium tripawd.
Giants – well you better sew your own.
